Play @ Electric Island Part IV - The Grand Finale September 19, 2018 Adam Galloway In the final days of Electric Island, located on Toronto Island's Hanlan's Point, summer was still in full force. The sun and the music were beating down strong. Electric Island is a 19+ dance music festival which has been running for several years now with no sign of letting up. This being the final installment, you'll have to wait until next year to attend. Plenty of time to plan ahead and think of next summer.Electric island is dancing, people watching, food trucks, a picnic and a water misting tent (fantastic for a hot summer day) rolled all in one. There was also plenty of shade to relax under and picnic tables to enjoy the amazing food truck offerings. Cold beer and drinks were available also at the numerous tents throughout the large park. Although this is not a family event, you do get a strong sense of community amongst the crowd. Everyone was ready to have a good time and everyone was always happy to have their photo taken and show how much fun they were having.Check out some more photos from the event below!
